Zocdoc Login

A plain guide to the Zocdoc login for both patients and providers — how to sign in, reset a password, and reach the official portal safely.

Important: This is an independent guide. We never collect logins here. Always sign in only on the official domain zocdoc.com. Check the address bar for the padlock and correct spelling before entering any password.

How to sign in as a patient

To access your patient account and manage appointments:

  1. Go to the official website at zocdoc.com or open the Zocdoc app.
  2. Select Log in in the top-right corner.
  3. Enter the email address and password you used when you created your account.
  4. Complete any verification step if prompted, then select Sign in.

Once signed in you can view upcoming visits, reschedule or cancel, complete intake forms, and leave reviews. New here? Learn how to sign up and book first.

Zocdoc provider login

Doctors and practice staff use a separate provider login (sometimes called the provider portal). It gives access to your calendar, new-patient bookings, profile and reviews.

  1. Visit the provider area linked from the official Zocdoc site.
  2. Choose Provider log in (distinct from the patient log in).
  3. Enter your provider credentials to reach your dashboard.

If your practice is new to the platform, see our careers and provider pricing pages for context on how listing works.

Forgot your password?

On the login screen, select Forgot password, enter your account email, and follow the reset link Zocdoc sends you. If you no longer have access to that email, contact Zocdoc customer service for help recovering the account.

Login safety tips

  • Only log in on zocdoc.com or the official app — never through email links you did not request.
  • Use a unique, strong password and enable any available two-step verification.
  • Beware of look-alike domains and misspellings designed to steal credentials.
  • Log out on shared or public computers.

Common login questions

Is the patient login the same as the provider login? No. Patients and providers use different sign-in flows. Make sure you are on the correct one.

Why can't I sign in? The usual causes are a mistyped email, an old password, or an unverified account. Reset your password first; if it still fails, reach out to support.

What you can do once you're logged in

Signing in unlocks the parts of Zocdoc that manage your care. As a patient, your account is the home base for everything after the initial search:

  • View upcoming appointments with dates, times and locations in one place.
  • Reschedule or cancel without calling the office.
  • Complete intake forms ahead of the visit so you are seen faster.
  • Join video visits directly from your appointment.
  • Leave verified reviews after attending, to help other patients.
  • Rebook trusted doctors in a couple of taps.

Signing in on the app vs the website

Your login works the same whether you use the website or the Zocdoc app. If you sign in on the app, it can keep you logged in on your personal device and send push reminders, while the website is convenient on a desktop. Either way, your appointments and account stay in sync, so you can start on one and finish on the other.

Provider portal at a glance

For practices, the provider portal is where the day-to-day happens: managing the calendar and availability that patients book against, reviewing new-patient appointments, updating the practice profile, and responding to verified reviews. Keeping availability accurate in the portal is what makes the patient-facing "real-time" booking reliable. Practices new to Zocdoc can learn about the cost side on our pricing page.

Troubleshooting a locked or unverified account

If repeated failed attempts have temporarily locked your account, the fix is usually to wait a short while and then reset your password rather than keep guessing. An unverified account is a common culprit too: check the inbox for the email you signed up with — including spam and promotions folders — and click the verification link. If that email never arrived, or you no longer have access to the address, request a new verification or reset from the login screen. When neither works, contact Zocdoc customer service with the email on your account so they can help restore access safely.
